The China-Korea Friendship Garden, which is completed in 2020, covers an area of about 1.2 hectares and is equipped with friendship tree sculptures, friendship pavilions, stone lamps, Korean-style scenery stones, walking paths, and other plants such as red bean trees and azaleas. The sculpture of Dolharubang in front of the gate, also known as "Grandpa Stone," is the mascot of Korea. There are different meanings with the different stone grandfathers: the one with his left hand on top is a military official, and the one with his right hand on top is a civil official. It is said that touching the nose of the stone grandfather can give birth to a son, and touching the stomach and hands of the stone grandfather can lead to promotion and wealth. Young Korean couples come to worship the stone grandpa after getting married in order to have more children and good fortune.
