Jingyuetan Wetland Park is the upstream of Jingyuetan Reservoir and covers an area of about one square kilometer. The wetland park is planted with birch, spruce, poinsettia, water willow, reeds, irises, lotus and other plants, attracting wild birds such as egrets, ruddy ducks, turtledoves, woodpeckers and other birds to live and reproduce in the park, and restoring migratory paths for migratory birds.
Early in the morning, the dew is dripping, and the birds are hovering up, a piece of vitality. At twilight, the afterglow of the setting sun dyes the sky red, the sunlight in the sky reflects the Jingyue Wetland, colorful and peaceful. In the summer, the lotus flowers bloom, just like what a Chinese poem says: Boundless lotus leaves link up to the sky. Lotus flowers are ultra red under sunshine. It is the largest lotus flower viewing place in Changchun.
