Changchun Forest Botanical Garden, built in 1982, is subordinate to Changchun Forestry Research Institute, the scientific research base of Changchun Academy of Forestry and a local forest botanical garden in Jilin Province. It is also a local forest botanical garden in Jilin Province. The botanical garden focuses on the cultivation and research of forest plants in Changbaishan Mountain, and at present, there are more than 700 species of plants in the garden, including more than 300 species of woody plants, more than 350 species of herbaceous plants, and more than 500 species of rare and endangered plants, and it has already become the gene pool of forest plants in Changbaishan Mountain.
