Vasaloppet Bridge, built to connect the Vasaloppet Ski Festival Racing. The Vasaloppet Ski Festival originated in Sweden and was named after King Gustav Vasa of Sweden, who led the Swedes to overthrow Danish rule. The competition has been held over 90 times since its establishment in 1922.
In 2003, Vasaloppet officially settled in Changchun Jingyuetan Scenic and Historic Spot, making China the fourth country to host Vasaloppet after Sweden, the United States and Japan. After more than ten years of development, Vasaloppet has developed from a single ski event into a large-scale international festival with deep Chinese and Western cultural heritage and wide appeal.
